The 1st Annual Heart and Soul Music Explosion Weekend

weekend of events includes a VIP Meet-N-Greet mixer, parties, an
outdoor Easter egg hunt and family picnic, and an indoor Old School
music festival featuring Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, Cameo, Mint
Condition, Ohio Players, and Doug E. Fresh. The
kickoff event for this festival, the Heart and Soul Celebrity Mixer,
will take place on Friday at the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium inside
the Touchdown Club. This networking event will
include some of Northeastern Florida’s elite, prominent business execs,
community leaders, members of the Jacksonville Jaguars, national
recording artists, and more.
The
Heart and Soul Family Picnic, being held on Saturday at Metropolitan
Park, will feature games, food, face-painting, clowns, a live DJ
spinning the best in old school music, photo opportunities with the
Jacksonville Jaguars’ mascot “Jaxson De Ville,” and one of the largest
Old School vs. New School Easter egg hunt in NE Florida. The
evening will play host to the Heart and Soul Music Explosion Concert
and Official After-Party being held at the Jacksonville Veterans
Memorial Arena with over 10,000 attendees. “This music festival is the ultimate old school experience. It’s
