will headline the second annual Lakefront Jazz and Blues Festival, a
day-long family-friendly event featuring jazz and blues artists at

The
event was created by the Prior Lake Rotary, and is presented by Mystic
Lake Casino Hotel and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community which

The Pacific Jazz Institute at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley presents The Sun Goddess Tour featuring Ramsey Lewis and his Electric Band.  Band members are Ramsey Lewis (piano), Henry Johnson (guitar), Tim Grant (keyboards), Joshua Ramos (bass) and Charles Heath (drums).  Set times Thursday and Sunday at 7:30pm.   Set times Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and 9:30 pm. Doors open at 6:00pm on Thursday and 5:30pm on Friday through Sunday.

 

Composer, pianist and jazz legend Ramsey Lewis has been referred to as “the great performer,” a title reflecting his performance style and musical selections which display his early gospel playing and classical training along with his love of jazz and other musical forms.
