Rancho Mirage, Calif. (July 29, 2019) – Legendary singer-songwriter, prolific record producer, executive, and co-founder of Motown Records, Smokey Robinson, will perform at The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa on Saturday, November 23, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public now.

Called the “reigning genius of Top-40” by Rolling Stone Magazine and “today’s greatest living American poet” by Bob Dylan, Robinson and his group, the Miracles, are known for such classics as “Shop Around,” “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me,” “I Second That Emotion” and the group’s number-one pop hit, “The Tears Of A Clown.” Other notable hits include, “Ooo Baby Baby,” and “The Tracks Of My Tears.” As one of the major songwriters and producers for Motown, Robinson is responsible for penning hit singles including, “Who’s Loving You,” “My Guy,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” “My Girl,” “Get Ready,” and “Ain’t That Peculiar.”

Robinson’s albums include A Quiet Storm, which yielded three hit singles, “Baby That’s Backatcha,” “The Agony & The Ecstasy,” and “Quiet Storm,” and One Heartbeat with the singles, “Just to See Her” and “One Heartbeat,” both Top 10 hits. “Just To See Her” won Robinson his first GRAMMY® Award. In recent years, Robinson released the standards album, Timeless Love, Time Flies When You’re Having Fun, Now And Then, and Smokey & Friends.

In his long and established career as an artist, Robinson has been bestowed countless honors and awards including induction as a solo artist to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Kennedy Center, an individual star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a second star with The Miracles, as well as honorary degrees from Howard University and Berklee College of Music.
