DALLAS, June 3 /PRNewswire/ —
WHAT: The HDNet Concert Series presents the premiere of “Santana: Multi-Dimensional Warrior: Live at the Fillmore,” Sunday, June 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Carlos Santana’s unprecedented return to the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco, California
in 2008 is his fan’s greatest opportunity to see the enigmatic axe man
in a rare and intimate setting, what many consider to be his greatest
homecoming.
Santana has captivated audiences since first taking the stage at the Fillmore West Theater on June 16, 1968 – many of the band members were high school friends.
Carlos Santana, with his signature Latin-tinged
guitar, experienced critical and commercial success in the 60’s and
70’s and returned to prominence with a literal “who’s-who” of guests on
his massively successful, Grammy Award winning album “Supernatural.” The album became his best seller. Santana then released “Shaman“ in 2005.
“Santana: Multi-Dimensional Warrior” features a two hour set of
favorites such as “Smooth,” “Shapeshifter,” “Jingo,” and a
breath-taking version of “Superstition.”
WHEN: Sunday, June 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on HDNet.
