Elk Creek Vineyards 2009 Summer Concert Series Presented by Kroger Welcomes The Temptations
OWENTON, Ky., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ — Motown legendary group The Temptations hits Owenton, Kentucky’s, Elk Creek Vineyards‘ outdoor stage on Saturday, September 12, 2009.
Temptations’ artists have delighted sold-out audiences
for more than 40 years yet the “outpouring of affection for this super
group has never been greater,” noted an industry report. “That’s
probably because we’re part of such an historical event as Motown,”
Otis Williams, the only living original member, said in an interview.
“The music being made in the sixties has transcended time.”
Curtis Sigretto, Elk Creek Vineyards owner, remarked: “The Temptations
will have you dancing whether you grew up with 45s, M-TV or iPods. This
is a great time to take in an Elk Creek Vineyards’ concert, especially
if you’re from the region and you’ve intended to check out our venue.
Enjoy Southern hospitality and headlining entertainment as our rolling
hillsides assume their autumn glow.”
Elk Creek Vineyards, nestled among the rolling hills of
Kentucky in Owenton, was established in 2003. Located approximately one
