Arts Brookfield hosts 2nd Season of
Star-studded Concerts, Exhibits and Screenings

WHAT:
In
its second season, Brookfield Properties is promoting culture in
downtown Los Angeles with “Summer on the Plaza,” a free entertainment
event series that creates opportunities for artists, audiences and
visitors to enjoy contemporary visual and performing arts. Kicking-off
“Summer on the Plaza,” Garth Trinidad, 89.9 KCRW’s popular radio host
and DJ, presents a soulfully eclectic concert featuring “a race of
angels” and Quetzal Guerrero on Wednesday, June 9th, at 5:30 p.m. at
7+FIG @ Ernst & Young Plaza. The star-studded concert series is a
musical convergence of Salsa, Jazz, R&B, Blues and international
influences including Goapele (pictured above)and Jon B. presenting evening shows at
7+FIG and Cafe R&B, N’Dambi and Mateo presenting lunchtime shows at
Bank of America Plaza.

Arts Brookfield is
presenting two additional events this summer with Los Angeles cultural
partners, California African American Museum and Film Independent.
California African American Museum presents a dynamic exhibition of
photographs, paintings, sculpture and assemblage of 24 member artists of
the California Artist Coalition of Los Angeles. In addition to the
exhibit and family friendly events, Film Independent brings a free
outdoor screening of “Desperately
Seeking Susan” (1985), to 7+FIG as part
