Annual Summer Jazz Concert Series

to the Villa Christina to showcase Classic and Contemporary Jazz
artists. First to take the stage will be saxophonist Reggie Hines, who
has collaborated with legendary names and performed on several talk
shows. The music continues with a performance by vocalist Tabitha King,
who has also shared the stage with established artists.
Atlanta, GA, June 03, 2010 –(PR.com)– The complimentary Summer Jazz
Series is returning to the Villa Christina to showcase Classic and
Contemporary Jazz artists. The festivities will begin with New York
saxophonist Reggie Hines, who has played and written for legendary
names, as well as performed his own tunes on recognized talk shows. The
musical tradition continues a couple weeks later with a performance by
sultry vocalist Tabitha King, who also shared the stage with prominent
artists and made special appearances to sing the National Anthem.
The
7th annual concert series will be held on the lovely grounds of Villa
Christina beginning on Sunday, June 13th with Reggie Hines and will
return on Sunday June 25th with Tabitha King. Doors open at 4:00 pm and
the music beings at 5:30 pm. There is no admission charge. Children of
all ages are welcome. The concerts will be staged outdoors among
landscaped gardens, winding streams and scenic waterfalls. “We love
hosting the outdoor jazz concerts here. The series is a relaxing and
festive way to spend time with family and friends, enjoying live music,
terrific food and refreshing beverages in our gardens. The outstanding
entertainment combined with a gorgeous outdoor setting and incredible

Reggie has played for musical icons
including Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight and John Legend. He has also
written hit songs for Gerald Alston from the Manhattans, Regina Belle
and Phyllis Hyman, one which was Grammy-nominated for best R&B song
of the year. He has reached out to national audiences by performing on
shows including the David Letterman Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and
Live with Regis and Kelly.
Tabitha has performed with talent such
as Usher, Boys II Men and Keith Washington. R&B artist Frankie
Beverly has requested Ms. King to be his opening act at The Atlanta
Civic Center, the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and Yokohama, Japan. She
has also had the honor of performing the National Anthem at a number of
NBA games.
