98.7 KISS FM presents a very special Mother’s Day Weekend line up at
New York City’s Beacon Theatre. The annual shows have become a Mother’s
Day tradition, and by popular demand, second shows have been added to
each event.

On Saturday May 7, 2011, The Royal Comedy Tour
brings top comics to the stage at 7:00pm with a recently added late
show at 10:30pm. The evening of laughs includes Sommore (“The Queens of
Comedy,” recipient of the Richard Pryor Award for Comic Of The Year),
D.L. Hughley (TV’s “The Hughleys,” “The Original Kings of Comedy), Bruce
Bruce (Comedy Central special, host of BET’s 10th Anniversary “Comic
View”), and Damon Williams (BET’s “Comic View,” host of several episodes
of “Showtime at The Apollo”).

On Sunday, May 8, 2011, The Mother’s Day Concert
spreads some motherly love “Old School Style.” With a just-added 3pm
matinee and a 7:30pm show, the bill features classic R&B and soul
with one of music’s most beloved and consistently popular vocal groups,
The Whispers (“Rock Steady,” “It’s a Love Thing,” “And the Beat Goes
On”) and the distinctive, soulful voice of the always-captivating
Stephanie Mills (“Never Knew Love Like This Before,” “Home,” “Something
in the Way You Make Me Feel”), plus special guest Lillo Thomas (“Your
Love’s Got a Hold on Me,” “I’m in Love.”)
