Scholarship Program Fundraiser

Entertainer Lionel Richie has
provided a concert and travel package as the headliner auction item at
the 9th Annual Eagles Golf Classic on May 2, 2011. A call-in phone bank
will allow out-of-area Lionel Richie fans to bid on the auction item.
The concert and travel package includes backstage passes and an
opportunity to meet Lionel Richie before the show. The Eagles Golf
Classic is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Eagles Soccer Club
College Scholarship Fund.

The Eagles Soccer Club again hosts its annual golf tournament
fundraiser, this year on May 2, 2011 at Spanish Hills Country Club in
Camarillo, California. This year marks the club’s 9th annual staging of
this tournament.

This year, entertainer Lionel Richie has provided the fundraising
event with a blockbuster auction item, a concert and travel package to
Richie’s Atlantic City concert on June 24th or June 25th. The package
to be auctioned is for a couple, and includes first-class air fare,
limousine, accommodation at Caesars Palace Atlantic City, backstage
passes, an autograph session with Lionel Richie before the show, and VIP
seats at Caesars’ Circus Maximus venue.
