As in years past, THE SCREAM TOUR features some of the best up and coming young musical acts– those who are next in line to become musical superstars. This continues to be the case with those featured on this year’s tour. They are, undoubtedly, the next generation of musical geniuses and superstars. Along with bringing cities across the country, the best youth musical fanfare, fan favorites and teen sensations, SCREAM TOUR: NXG is also bringing young people face to face with their favorite teen musical stars in a setting that inspires and equips them to become the next generation of leaders and encourages them to work hard to make their own dreams come true. This is being done each week on select tour cities along the way via The Scream Tour Teen Town Hall Meetings.
The Teen Town Hall Meeting takes place every Saturday morning @ 11 AM during the SCREAM TOUR. The Teen Town Hall meeting will be held in the following cities on the tour: Cincinnati, OH – 10/29/11, Houston, TX – 11/5/11, Los Angeles, CA – 11/12/11 and New York, NY –11/19/11. Select artists from the tour, special guests and expert panelists will address the future of our youth and work to inspire an attitude of confidence in the attendees and motivate them to move beyond their present situations all in an intimate, interactive town hall setting. Artists on this year’s tour and other guests and panelists will have an opportunity to dialogue with youth in each city to encourage them, offer them insight and speak on viable alternatives when it comes to working to make their dreams come true, the importance of staying in school and discovering what it takes to be a leader and what makes a leader. The first two town hall meetings held in Baltimore, MD and Memphis, TN were met with great response and featured Diggy, Hamilton Park, Jacob Latimore and The OMG Girlz with hundreds of kids from each city in attendance.
“The future of the SCREAM TOUR brand will undoubtedly be to continue the Legacy! With the success of this leg of the tour, we are definitely doing that and doing it on the level that fans have become accustomed to throughout the years,” said Michael Mauldin, producer and creator of THE SCREAM TOUR. “We will continue, year after year to develop, new, up and coming artist, as well as celebrate the Star Power of many of the more successful ones, through our famous arena style presentations.”
With the sold out status, the new cities being added and the teen town hall component, THE SCREAM TOUR continues to further create and generate substantive longevity and attention for years to come for the SCREAM TOUR brand, a new legion of young and old fans and serve as a template and springboard for those artists seeking to be “THE NEXT BIG MUSICAL SUPERSTAR.” As of press time, in an effort to continue to give fans across the country what they want, a special holiday leg of THE SCREAM TOUR was in the works. Details on that will be announced in the coming weeks.
