Faith Evans, First Lady of Hip Hop R&B comes to South Florida November 5th

 

Monie Love, Hip Hop legend, hosts the Official Faith Evans After party

on November 5, 2011 at Club Aizia

 

MIAMI,
FL (October 31, 2011) – A new resident to South Florida, Monie Love has
joined forces with local artist Sassy Singz of Feline Royale
Entertainment, to host the Official Faith Evans After party at Aizia
Restaurant and Night Club, in Hollywood Florida on Saturday, November 5
starting at 11pm. An evening for the grown and sexy there will be sounds
of the 90’s presented by Dj Griot and Dj Fly Guy.

 

A
musical celebration, Monie Love is promoting female artists in and
around the South Florida region creating a safe haven for female artists
to display their talent and reach industry professionals. In a recent
interview, Monie Love stated that serious budding female talents in
South Florida needed a platform to showcase their skills. Under her
supervision she strives to create opportunities for their talent to be
seen and heard.

 

Having
made Miami her home, Love has created a platform for up and coming of
female artists who are entering the industry. In the spirit of women
empowerment, “Ladies First” Music Showcase is held once a month and
features serious female performers.

Monie Love

Known
by her stage name, Monie Love is an English emcee and radio personality
based in Miami. A well-respected figure in British & American hip
hop, she has made an impact with American hip hop audiences as a protégé
of female American emcee Queen Latifah, as well as through her
membership in the late 1980s/early 1990s Native Tongues.

Love
was one of the first British Hip Hop artists to be signed and
distributed worldwide by a major record label. Love also has a place in
hip-hop history as a member of the Native Tongues, a positive-minded
hip-hop collective that included Queen Latifah, De La Soul, A Tribe
Called Quest, the Jungle Brothers, and a number of other acts. Her
versatility was demonstrated with her involvement in the emerging
popularity of House music, with her own single Grandpa’s Party as well
as providing rap for the The Dancin’ Danny D Remix of Adeva’s house hit
Respect.
