For over three decades, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly has packed venues around the world with their passionate, original, soulful and irresistibly funky music. From their self-titled 1976 album and its breakthrough hits, “Lady of Magic” and “Workin’ Together,” through later smashes like, “Travelin’ Man,” “Feel That You’re Feeling,” “Joy and Pain,” and many more, the group’s ability to seamlessly blend soul and jazz with an irresistible energy continues to influence new generations of artists as well as gain new fans. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly received the 2012 BET Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award.
The incomparable Patti Labelle has recorded over 50 albums over the span of an extraordinary career spanning four decades. From “Lady Marmalade,” through, “On My Own,” “If You Only Knew,” and more, Patti LaBelle has proven that she is one of the most captivating performers in all of popular music. The two time Grammy Award winner and member of the Grammy Hall of Fame is also the author of four successful books, an actress, spokesperson and humanitarian who devotes her time and talent to numerous charities.
The O’Jays are living legends… American treasures. The group has recorded an ocean-wide body of work that spawned 24 Top Ten smashes and 59 total charted songs. Throughout their career the O’Jays have recorded 10 Gold Albums with 9 going Platinum and 10 #1 hits. They continue to deliver incredibly energetic and dynamic live shows night after night in venues around the world. Yet, even after 50+ years making such international hits as “Back Stabbers,” “For The Love Of Money,” “Darlin’ Darlin’ Baby,” “Love Train,” “I Love Music,” “Use Ta Be My Girl” and “Have You Had Your Love Today,” The O’Jays show no signs of slowing down.
Few artists have impacted the contemporary pop/urban scene as much as Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. He has reached iconic status as a poignant tunesmith, prolific hit maker, superstar recording artist and revolutionary label owner. A staggering 10-time Grammy Award winner with 11 solo albums to his credit, Edmonds’ impeccably crafted explorations of love, romance and relationships have resulted in over 125 Top Ten R&B and Pop hits as well as single and album sales in excess of over 500 million units worldwide.
