The 40th Annual St. John the Baptist Parish Andouille Festival | Oct. 18th – 20th, 2013
On Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Quintin Gerard W. (St. John Parish resident and international Urban/Smooth Jazz Recording Artist) will take the stage to perform at this year’s 40th Annual St. John the Baptist Parish Andouille Festival’s Sunday Jazz Brunch event at the St. John Community Center located at 2900 Hwy. 51, LaPlace, LA.
After Hurricane Isaac stormed across St. John Parish and canceled last year’s festival, which draws more than 18,000 festival goers, the festival returns in its fortieth year to give residents and tourists a three day fun-filled weekend with music, good times, rides, cooking contests, and a special Sunday Jazz Brunch.
Tickets to the Sunday Jazz Brunch are available at $35.00, and may be purchased at the receptionist desk of the Percy Hebert Building located at 1801 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace, LA.
In addition to a performance by Quintin Gerard W., whose music has traveled worldwide and is coveted for its relaxing and intellectually hip yet “Fonky” style, the jazz brunch will feature food, cocktails, and a silent auction. Songs from Quintin Gerard W.’s most recent “Before It’s Gone” CD project successfully charted on the Billboard Smooth Jazz charts for several weeks.
