Thank you for your interest in our festival. Due to a date conflict for February 1st of 2015- and under the guidance of Miami-Dade parks, our board of directors and some festival sponsors, we have decided to postpone the event.

Unfortunately, securing a spot within the next three months is not possible and the dates that are available for summer threaten to ruin the event, as they are in the middle of rainy season. Because of these unforeseen circumstances, we have been forced to postpone the date further to October 4th, 2015.

PRLog – Sep. 3, 2014 – MIAMI — Miami, FL The event is called, Under the Sun Art & Music Festival, boasting 300 plus artists, tons of local business sponsors. This all day event will have 17 local bands and choirs playing throughout the day as well as have all types of art from oil paintings to limited editions. The event will open to the public at 9:30 AM and will go until 5:30 PM. The cost for artists to participate in this show with early registration is a mere $59. This fee is a fraction of the costs for other large outdoor festivals.” With a February date, we are hoping for clear skies and perfect weather”, Brand states as he also states that in the past, this week has been one of the best weekends of the month.

According to Adam Brand, the festival director and owner of Frames USA & Art Gallery, a local picture frame shop celebrating its 20thyear in business this year, “this will be a tremendous festival”. “by utilizing the front of the park, the park will have a wonderful appearance with so many white artists tents, giving a refreshing look to the older Miami Dade County park”, Brand says.

The goal is to bring the community together with this festival by engaging lower costs booths and local high schools to perform at the festival.
