Prince Singer Liv Warfield Teams With Heart Guitarist Nancy Wilson for Rockin’ Soul Collaboration in SoCal Shows
Heart Guitarist Nancy Wilson and Former Prince Vocalist Liv Warfield Unite To Lead Band Roadcase Royale, Performing at The Canyon In Agoura Hills, CA, Thursday June 1st and The Rose in Pasadena on June 2nd
One of 2017’s “Ones To Watch” collaborations is an exciting new band called Roadcase Royale led by Nancy Wilson (founding guitarist of pioneering female-led rock band Heart) and Liv Warfield (the acclaimed and electrifying soul mama solo artist who was snapped up to be a backing vocalist during the last years of Prince’s bands). Together they are fronting a sextet that includes Liv’s right hand guitarist Ryan Waters and Heart veterans Dan Rothchild (bass), Ben Smith (drums) and Chris Joyner (Keys) for some fresh new music that skirts the perceived boundaries of Rock and R&B. The energy they create is intense, liberating and unifying as they follow through on the age old “we should work together sometime” promises – making backstage talk a front row reality.
Anyone who has seen Nancy Wilson in Heart since that band’s mid-70s debut knows that she is a no-nonsense war heroine on stage and as well as composer. And everyone who has seen Liv Warfield take center stage has been completely blown away by her magnetic presence and propane heat vocals. We invite you to get in on the ground floor of a thrilling new adventure in music that is sure to impress, this Thursday, June 1, at The Canyon club in Agoura Hills, CA, followed by a Friday night at The Rose in Pasadena, June 2nd.
