, which is sponsored by Closing the Gap in Healthcare, was started by Thaddeus John Bell, MD in 2008. Founded on the premise of health education and eradicating health disparities, the festival prides itself on featuring an array of musical talent from the Smooth Jazz genre.

​For the 10th Annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival,​ ​we will be moving to a new venue . . . a more central location that provides our patrons with additional opportunities to experience the local culture​,​ charm and cuisine of the Greater Charleston area​, including historic Charleston​.​

The new home of The Lowcountry Jazz Festival is the state of the art Charleston Gaillard Center, located in the historic Mother Emanuel district of​ downtown Charleston, South Carolina. We look forward to seeing you there!​
