The Saint Lucia Jazz Festival is renowned as the premier jazz festival in the Caribbean and the new Jazz at Lincoln Center partnership brings artists who have performed on Jazz at Lincoln Center’s season concerts, touring initiatives, and global outposts, as well as throughout Saint Lucia Jazz Festival’s 27-year history. Unique to the 2019 Saint Lucia Jazz Festival is the unprecedented number of Artists-In-Residence who will call Saint Lucia their home away from home: Christian McBride, Ledisi, Etienne Charles, Russell Hall, and Patrick Bartley who will perform, collaborate, jam, and host concerts. Additionally, throughout the festival, the artists will conduct educational activities including master classes, professional development, and live performance collaborations with Saint Lucia School of Music students and local jazz artists.
Saint Lucia has been hosting a vibrant jazz festival annually since 1992.
