It’s all about the Music and Mountains. And the pristine Rocky Mountains of Colorado surrounding the Telluride Jazz Festival have presented a backdrop in the past 46 years for fans who appreciate jazz in various shapes and sounds. Besides continuous entertainment for three days beginning at NOON – as one of several options offered at Telluride Jazz, fans can interact with the artists themselves backstage while being served tasty culinary selections. Of course, there are special tributes including a 90-minute celebration of New Orleans legends, The Meters. Speaking of New Orleans, a Second Line Brass Band marches down Main Street to launch the final day of musical bounce.

On this 47th Edition of The Telluride Jazz Festival, jazz giant Christian McBride and global superstar Angelique Kidjo head up an intriguing lineup that also features Afrobeat collective Antibalas, the eclectic sounds of Ghost Funk Orchestra and The Telluride Student All-Stars.
