The 15th Annual Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival
Presented by the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium. This music series is New York City’s longest continuously running grassroots festival dedicated to jazz. The Los Angeles Philharmonic announced the line-up for the 36th annual Playboy Jazz Festival to be held Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, at the Hollywood Bowl. An internationally-acclaimed event, the Playboy Jazz Festival is one of the premiere jazz festivals in the United States and attracts audiences from around the globe.

Legendary musician, Hubert Laws, a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master, will take the stage at PSI Theater in Durham on April 25th at 6:15 pm in partnership with North Carolina Central University’s 24th Annual Jazz Festival. Laws is an accomplished musician across the genres of jazz, classical, pop and rhythm and blues. With over 40 years experience, three Grammy nominations, 20 albums and sold out performances to his credit Laws will add a depth of perspective and experience to the Art of Cool Festival.

Poncho Sanchez Heads Lineup For Third Annual Latin Jazz & Blues Festival in Ninth District
The public is invited to the 3rd Annual Latin Jazz and Blues Festival in North Long Beach at Houghton Park on Saturday, May 24th to enjoy music, food and vendor booths, a Healthy Kids Zone and more.
This year’s lineup features Grammy award-winning Latin Jazz band-leader Poncho Sanchez, DW3, The Susie Hansen Latin Jazz Band, and Boxcar 7.
