Newport Festivals Foundation Announces 2011 Newport Jazz Festival Schedule
and Celebrates New Sponsor, Alex and Ani

NEWPORT, RI, March 22, 2011 – Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc.* today announced the support of a new sponsor, Alex and Ani, and the schedule of the 2011 Newport Jazz Festival®, which is set for August 5 – 7. The 19th Annual Downtown Oakville Jazz Festival | Aug. 5th-7th, 2011

Downtown jazz festival gets $75,000 from province

One of
the largest jazz festivals in the province, which takes place each year
in Oakville, is getting funding from the province.

The Downtown
Oakville Jazz Festival is entering its 19th year with a $75, 000
donation from the province, through the Celebrate Ontario 2011 program.

The funding announcement was made by Oakville MPP Kevin Flynn with a presentation to the Downtown Oakville BIA Jazz Committee.

“Every
summer the Downtown Oakville BIA Jazz Festival draws thousands of
tourists and residents to Oakville’s downtown core. This is fantastic
news for everyone and it is a true investment into Oakville and will
further develop the Downtown Oakville Jazz Festival, ” Flynn said in a
