Though he is a multiple GRAMMY award-winning artist, his latest acclaimed album, BLUESAmericana, on Kind of Blue Music, accomplished a career first; three GRAMMY nominations and the honor of being awarded the Blues Music Association’s Best Contemporary Blues Album of 2015. The honor marked his 11th Blues Music Award, however, it was his first in 13 years.

The run kicks off in NYC on April 25 and covers the Midwest and West. For the June portion of her tour, Etana joins forces with Hawaiian songstress Anuhea for a one of a kind musical experience starring reggae’s top female solo acts of this generation. The 12th Annual Portland Jazz Festival Presented by Alaska Airlines is set to commence Wednesday, February 18 through Sunday, March 1 with a record number of 30 headline concerts at venues throughout the Portland metro region. The festival was co-founded in 2004 with Travel Portland to establish a cultural tourism initiative in the metro Portland area, and to celebrate Black History Month through education and outreach programming.
