Conference Announces Full Schedule of Workshops and Discussions


OAKLAND, Calif., June 8

music industry conference, announced today its complete schedule
of informational, cutting edge workshops and panels led by some of the
industry’s most powerful executives and innovators. The conference,
which takes place at the Waterfront Hotel in Oakland
on June 25 and 26, offers a two-day
educational environment and networking opportunities to attendees
seeking to be in the music business or to those who are already in the
business and are looking for fresh ideas to advance their career. The

Highlights of the
conference include:

  • Opening keynote speaker Michael Winger, President of the San Francisco
    Chapter of the Recording Academy, on “The Future of the Business as We
    Know It.” (Friday, June 25 at 9:30am)
  • Martin
    Luther McCoy
    , multi-talented singer, songwriter, actor, musician
    and producer with Rebel Soul Records, leads a panel discussion on “Soul
    Music: Past, Present, and Future: Its current state and where it’s
    headed.” (Saturday, June 26 9:00am)
  • Grammy award winning songwriter
    James “Pharoah” Brown leads a session on “Songwriter Tips: How to Write

As a kick off to the
conference TraMai Entertainment is hosting a mixer on Wednesday, June 9, from 5pm
– 8pm
at Cocina Poblana located at 499 Embarcadero West in Jack
