Charleston, SC – Charleston Jazz is excited to announce world-renowned performers for the 6th Annual Charleston Jazz Festival. This highly-anticipated four-day festival will take place January 23 – 26, 2020 featuring the legendary Freddy Cole who will share the stage with Jane Monheit and the Charleston Jazz Orchestra with opening act the Monty Alexander Trio.

 
The Lowcountry Jazz Festival, South Carolina’s premiere annual Smooth Jazz event, returns to– the Charleston Gaillard Center – and with a stellar lineup of superstar artists and up and coming instrumentalists and vocalists. The festival continues its Labor Day weekend tradition, kicking off Friday, August 30

​The ​Lowcountry Jazz Festival, which is sponsored by Closing the Gap in Healthcare, was started by Thaddeus John Bell, MD in 2008. Founded on the premise of health education and eradicating health disparities, the festival prides itself on featuring an array of musical talent from the Smooth Jazz genre.
