Los Angeles – Promotions guru Joe Jones and his Versatile Productions
has been serving up entertainment specialties for over a decade. His
savvy recipe for combining live entertainment with festive nightlight
for a generation deemed grown and sexy has rendered his celebrated LA Social Club one of Los Angeles’ most successful long running events.

On Saturday, August 8, Versatile Productions in conjunction with Eight Divas Promotions, Blacks Pearls LA and VP Foundation will pay homage to former lead singer of the legendary Temptations, Ollie Woodson with an evening dedicated to the release of his new album, “Never Give Up.”  The special evening of entertainment will be held at the Waterfront Restaurant located at 4211 Admiralty Way in Marina Del Rey, CA from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. 
Recognized as one of the most distinguished voices in the music world
today, Woodson will surely mesmerize the audience with his live
performance sharing an intoxicating delivery of classic hits past and
present.

 
In addition, the evening will acknowledge the talent and success of entreprenuer Fleace Weaver of Blackweekly.com.  Since 1999, Weaver has successfully positioned her Blackweekly.com
as the preferred online destination for affluent African Americans in
the greater Los Angeles area with over 22,000 local members.

entertainment.  We are excited to present and pay tribute to Ollie
Woodson as he celebrates his new CD release.  He is one of the last
true crooners of our generation and one of the many class acts we have
scheduled for a series of exciting shows this summer.” 

 

Versatile Productions will also host a concert with R&B vocalist Howard Hewitt and comedian Melanie Camacho on Sunday, September 6th, 2009 at 7:30pm and 9:30pm with an after party to follow after the last show featuring one of Los Angeles’ hottest DJ personalities.
