NEW ORLEANS, LA, January 26, 2015 – Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO) hit the road for a 12-city tour beginning in Miami, FL on February 5 and wrapping up in Fairfield, CT on February 22. In addition to Mayfield on trumpet, the 18-piece Orchestra includes such respected musicians as Victor Atkins on piano and Ed “Sweetbread” Petersen on saxophone.

Jazz Grooves confirms plans for the 8th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival, to be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, in Mableton, Georgia. The power packed line up includes established international headliners Nick Colionne and Jeff Lorber. There will be additional performances by national recording artists Tim Bowman, Paula Atherton, and Ron Johnson.

ATLANTA — A new stageplay is set to hit the scene in South Metro Atlanta this April entitled “The Strength of Love.” This stageplay, a Baz Brothers Production, will be held in two shows on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2pm and 7pm at the Griffin Auditorium, in Griffin, GA.
“The Strength of Love” is a heartfelt story of Antonio and Melody, a loving couple who have been married 5 years. Although the first 5 years were blissful, Antonio and Melody are now settling into a new stage of marriage, and each has their own struggle.

NEWPORT, RI, January 13, 2015 – After producing a successful and exciting 60th anniversary celebration last year, George Wein today announced that the 2015 Newport Jazz Festival® presented by Natixis Global Asset Management will return to the City-by-the-Sea July 31 – August 2 with three full days of music at Fort Adams State Park, plus the popular Friday night concert at the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino and a festive Gala at the historic Breakers on Saturday evening.
