Gwen Black Arts/Arts and Jazzfest NYC(tm) invite you to experience the magic of Jazz By The Water™ with straight ahead and soulful jazz on Saturday, July 25th at 12 PM-6PM. Join us for an unforgettable free, all-day concert in the lush green oasis of Governor’s Island inside Colonel Row. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy incredible jazz tunes with a 12-noon New Orleans 2nd Line Kick Off and tribute to “Pops” Louis Armstrong with vocalist Letrice Arlene presented by Roz Nixon Live and My Time, Inc. with performances by Mark Adams’ Jazzical Septet with a special tribute to the legendary Roy Ayers; the Joe Baione Quintet; Lady Cantrese and her Gents; the Eric Person Quartet; and Sharp Radway and band.
