New Concert Series “Jazz In The City” Debut in Denver on Oct. 18th, 2025

Contemporary jazz artists collaborate for more than a concert tour

Guitarists Norman Brown and Ron Bosse and saxophonists Paul Taylor and Tony Exum Jr. will debut Jazz in the City in Denver on October 18.

DENVER, Colorado (7 OCTOBER 2025): Inherent in jazz is collaboration and spontaneity. United by a shared passion for live music, education, and premier production values, GRAMMY® winner Norman Brown, Billboard chart topper Paul Taylor, emerging saxophonist Tony Exum Jr., and guitar prodigy Ron Bosse have come together to create Jazz in the City, a concert series that celebrates artistry, spontaneity, and the power of collaboration. Jazz in the City will debut at Denver’s King Center Concert Hall on October 18 at 6:30pm MT.

Jazz in the City was conceived by Bosse, Brown, and promoter Pat Duncan with three key elements: world-class live music, top notch production, and music education and community engagement.

“At its core, Jazz in the City is about the magic of live performance, with each show being a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together world-class musicians to create something truly unforgettable, captured through high-quality filming and production to reach audiences beyond the stage,” said Bosse who is a multimedia entrepreneur in addition to being a virtuoso musician.

Duncan ensured that Jazz in the City’s opening date in Denver would be special by adding Taylor and Exum Jr. to the package because both have roots in the Mile High City.

“The series features top-tier jazz, R&B, and soul artists such as Paul Taylor and Tony Exum Jr. in Denver, curated to highlight genre-blending creativity and onstage chemistry. Each concert is a unique collaboration of first-class musicians delivering an unforgettable live experience,” said Duncan.

Bosse will oversee the state-of-the-art production team that will film and mix the sound for each concert, not to replace the live experience but to capture and extend its reach to wider audiences. This exceptional production quality will ensure that the music’s energy and artistry are preserved beyond the stage.

In each city that Jazz in the City visits, the ensemble will strive to fulfill an educational objective, offering masterclasses and interviews with prominent local figures, including musicians, artists, athletes, and business leaders. Bosse will produce the sessions that will be filmed and shared online with commentary by Brown to provide music education and tell stories to engage, inspire, and inform audiences.

At Jazz in the City performances, Exum Jr. will take the stage first followed by Taylor. Bosse and Brown will take over, and the show will culminate with all four artists on stage together for a dynamic finale showcasing their collective artistry.

“The goal is to curate a really unique and diverse set list,” said Bosse, who will serve as the tour’s musical director.

More Jazz in the City dates will soon be announced with Boston, Atlanta, and Chicago likely to be tour stops in early 2026. For tickets and additional information, visit JAZZ IN THE CITY.
