JAS ANNOUNCES 2026 JUNE EXPERIENCE LINE-UP
Jazz, Soul, Blues, Funk, World Music & More
at Multiple Venues Across the Downtown Core
Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) has just announced the initial artist and venue line-up for the JAS June Experience, taking place June 25-28 in downtown Aspen. The Experience will consist of multiple staggered shows daily, taking place at up to ten different venues, allowing attendees the opportunity to stroll around town and enjoy a full night of diverse music genres and settings. With all venues within a short walk in Aspen’s downtown core, and artists performing multiple shows throughout the weekend, the JAS June Experience offers a premium on intimate gatherings, spontaneous listening choices, movement and discovery.
JAS President & CEO Jim Horowitz offered, “JAS is thrilled to once again be presenting our multi-venue, JAS June Experience, which has become a widely popular, great new tradition in downtown Aspen in recent years. Discovery and surprise are the biggest rewards, as attendees customize their itinerary across multiple venues nightly, but always make room for spontaneous changes of plan to hear new artists generating great buzz.”
Passes for the event go on-sale Wednesday, March 18 at 10am mst and will include the choice of single day or 2-day general admission passes or 3-day VIP passes. This year the nightly VIP dinner and concerts will be held at the new Paul JAS Center (PJC), JAS’ permanent home!
In addition to the PJC, JAS plans to host performances at the Belly Up, Wheeler Opera House, Rooftop at the Aspen Art Museum, Limelight Hotel, W Hotel, The Little Nell, The Sterling, and Hotel Jerome’s Felix Roasting Co. and Bad Harriet.
General Admission Passes include entrance into all participating venues each night, including the opportunity to enjoy the late performance at the Paul JAS Center on both Friday and Saturday nights. The general admission pass for Friday, June 26 will be $140 and include entrance into eight venues. Saturday, June 27 general admission passes will be $165 and include entrance into ten venues. A two-day general admission pass, good for both Friday and Saturday, will be available for $250. Three (3) Night VIP passes are $1250/each ($500 tax deduction).
VIP passes include three nights of dinner and drinks plus stellar nightly music performances at the PJC, plus entrance into all other participating venues. Things will kick-off for VIP ticket holders on Thursday, June 25 with a fun cocktail party and concert featuring The New Orleans Suspects and their deep NOLA grooves.
Limited single show tickets will also be available for performances taking place at the Belly Up, Wheeler Opera House, W Hotel and Aspen Art Museum.

The New Orleans Suspects The New Orleans Suspects have been tearing up the festival and club circuits for the last ten years. Their music combines irresistibly tight funk, soulful horns, Americana based rhythm and blues, and a pinch of jamband to create a uniquely funky groove.
Friday, June 26
The Family Stone The Family Stone keeps the music of Sly and the Family Stone alive on stages around the world. Formed in San Francisco (1966), Sly and the Family Stone made history as America’s first major multi-racial, multi-gender touring band. Their infectious blend of funk, soul, R&B, rock, and psychedelia propelled them to global fame.
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe KDTU has electrified audiences around the world for over 25 years from the fields of Naeba in Japan at the infamous Fuji Rock Festival to the hallowed stage of Madison Square Garden. They are highly regarded as one of the best live acts on the planet.
Jimmie Vaughan & the Tilt-A-Whirl Band After worldwide success with The Fabulous Thunderbirds during the 80’s, bandleader, singer and guitarist, and four-time GRAMMY Award winner Jimmie Vaughan, left the band to build his own path in exploring different approaches to the blues. Over the years he has dedicated his life to making sure the blues not only stays alive, but remains full of life and an inspiration to all who listen.
Ally Veneble Texas blues-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire, Ally Venable, entertains wherever she goes. With her signature glitter dresses and black knee-high boots, Venable comes off of the ropes swinging dazzling crowds on tour or throughout the festival circuit. “Venable pulls off a stunner of gritty and/or sultry blues rock tunes embellished with lots of tasty guitar solos.” – Guitar Player Magazine.

Cory Henry & the Funk Apostles GRAMMY-Winning artist Cory Henry with his band The Funk Apostles, is captivating audiences with electrifying performances around the world. As Henry continues to explore new musical territories and push boundaries, he remains an influential figure in contemporary music, and is quickly becoming an icon around the world – inspiring countless fans and fellow musicians alike. His deep, funky sound and live show with the Funk Apostles leave listeners exhilarated wherever they perform!
The Robert Cray Band Since 1974, The Robert Cray Band has been touring and recording their unique groove, born from a love of Soul, R&B, Gospel, Blues and Rock n Roll. The five-time Grammy winner has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and earned the Americana Music Awards Lifetime Achievement for Performance.
Vincen Garcia is a Spanish bassist from Valencia, acclaimed as one of the most prestigious figures in the modern jazz and funk scene worldwide. He has over 14 years of professional experience, having developed a distinctive, modern sound marked by energetic and gritty execution. He is an Artist whose high energy sound is generating huge international buzz wherever he performs.
“Remembering Ray Brown,” featuring Christian McBride, Benny Green & Greg Hutchinson: The legendary bassist Ray Brown, came to world-wide fame in the 1960’s with the legendary Oscar Peterson Trio, considered one of the greatest piano trios in the history of jazz. Ray helped launch JAS’ first summer “Jazz Colony” education residency and introduced JAS to Christian McBride in the mid-90’s, beginning a multi-decade relationship between McBride and the organization that continues today. This Trio of bass, piano and drums, recreates the incredible swing and brilliant, rhythmic arrangements that marked all of Ray’s performances.
Acoustic Alchemy Acoustic Alchemy is an English acoustic and contemporary jazz band formed in England in early 1980. With over 35 years of recording and touring, Acoustic Alchemy’s longevity may be due in part to that spirit of never trying to fit in, but to just make music that they love.
Anat Cohen “Quartetinho” Clarinetist-saxophonist Anat Cohen has won hearts and minds around the globe with her expressive virtuosity and magnetic stage presence, earning esteem both as a musician’s musician and as a performer who charms new recruits to the jazz art like few others. Her spirit is irresistible and her performances are always mesmerizing.
Sue Foley Sue Foley is a multi-award-winning blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose latest album, One Guitar Woman: A Tribute to the Female Pioneers of Guitar, was nominated for the 2025 GRAMMY® Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. Known for her fiery playing and soulful voice, Foley blends Texas blues grit with refined fingerstyle technique, whether on her signature pink paisley Fender Telecaster or a hand-built flamenco guitar.

Tony Monaco’s B-3 Funk & Groove Unit Mentored by the legendary Jimmy Smith, Tony Monaco may be the best organ player you will ever hear while playing arguably some of the hottest contemporary B-3 Organ Trio music to be heard anywhere. Says Tony about his Trio, “the band I have selected is explosive, dynamic and powerful!”
Diego Figuereido & Chiarra Izzi GRAMMY Award nominated guitarist Diego Figueiredo, a virtuoso with an infectious, joyful feeling that will leave you amazed and happy will be joined by the award-winning Italian singer-songwriter Chiarri Izzi, for an international tour of jazz and Brazilian sounds, with Latin and world rhythms, all woven together by this irresistible Duo.

The June Experience will close on Sunday, June 28th with a New Orleans Brunch concert. Brunch tickets are $99 and include the concert, full breakfast buffet and bottomless Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar.
