Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer LEON RUSSELL to Headline May 6th Concert in Napa Valley

 

April 4, 2011  – Radio star and philanthropist Robin Quivers along with her 15 Foundation and in coordination with MIMA Music will host an intimate VIP dinner and benefit concert entitled “It’s for the Kids” to support the children’s nutrition education programs of the Edible School Yard and the Connolly Ranch. The Edible Schoolyard (ESY), a program of the Chez Panisse Foundation, is a one-acre organic garden and kitchen classroom for urban public school students at Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School in Berkeley, California. The mission of Connolly Ranch is to connect kids with nature through farm-based environmental education programs.

MIMA Music, an organization that brings music-making workshops around the world, will be working with the students served by Connolly Ranch and Edible Schoolyard, facilitating the composition of an original song and music video to be debuted with a live performance and screening at the benefit concert in Napa on May 6th.
