Tour Joins the Global Celebration of March’s Women in Jazz Month
On March 6th, award-winning jazz singer-songwriter Eugenie Jones is set to ignite her Women in Jazz Month Tour at Denver’s premier music venue, Dazzle Jazz Club, with the tour journey continuing to metro-Atlanta’s chic Velvet Note Jazz Club on March 14th, San Francisco’s stylish Mr. Tipple’s on March 20th, and Seattle’s genre-bending Royal Room on March 27th.
This tour is a part of the global March celebration of Women in Jazz Month, shining a spotlight on the groundbreaking contributions of women—like Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and Ella Fitzgerald—who helped lay the foundations of jazz and define its very essence.
Eugenie Jones is a captivating Seattle-based entertainer, renown for her distinctive “smoke & satin” vocals, electric stage presence, and emotionally resonant songwriting. Her live performances weave together inventive takes on vintage jazz, soul-infused jazz originals, and classic rhythm and blues. Her artistry has drawn praise from across the globe.
Jones has written and recorded over 30 original jazz songs, and her songwriting has drawn comparisons to Abbey Lincoln and Nina Simone.
